Joy Is A Choice
David found himself frustrated and resentful when he was forced into a job change at work. That’s when he came across a scripture that caused him to choose joy as his response. It’s a reminder that even in our toughest circumstances we too can choose joy.

David comes alive when he can write songs and give language to help people express their worship to God. A true pastor’s heart, he loves the local church and has served at Gateway Church in Southlake, TX, since 2002, where he is currently a worship pastor. He makes a mean filet mignon, loves a good Hemingway book, a day full of writing, stargazing, reading to the kids, family picnics, and is always looking forward to the next family pool day or beach trip.
